YOUNG GUMS
The Drs. Langer are credited with pioneering the most widely-accepted method for replacing lost gum tissue (The Subepithelial Connective Tissue Graft). Their techniques are now used worldwide and are taught in most dental schools. Restoration of the gum line to its original postion gives a more youthful smile.
UNEVEN GUM LINE
An uneven gum line can be unattractive due to the appearance of teeth that are too long, too short or mis-matched. This asymmetry can focus attention to an unwanted area.

Usually root surfaces that become exposed due to recession are sensitive to cold air or drinks. Whether you have one tooth with recession or four, oftentimes a gingival (gum) graft can be done to eradicate the "long in the tooth" look and restore the appearance of a younger more healthy smile.
NARROW RECESSION ON A SINGLE TOOTH
This is very common on lower anterior teeth and can be corrected quite easily.
